2hvac.ca is a 24/7 live call-connection service for heating and air conditioning emergencies and same-day HVAC work in Toronto and the GTA, operated by PatchLead (1001689754 Ontario Inc.). You call once; we answer in under 60 seconds, confirm the problem and your location, and connect you on the same call to an independent HVAC technician who has agreed in writing to hold the licences Ontario requires and is available now. You pay nothing to use the service; the contractors pay PatchLead for the connection. We are not the contractor.
Who operates this site
The site is owned and run by PatchLead (1001689754 Ontario Inc.), an Ontario corporation with its registered office at 1025 King St E, Unit 107, Cambridge, ON N3H 3P5. PatchLead is named in the consent you give when you submit a request, in the privacy policy and terms published on this site, and in the footer of every page. There is no separate company called 2HVAC.
PatchLead also operates 2plumbers.ca, which does the same thing for plumbing. The two sites share one operator, one phone system and one set of policies.
What the service is, and is not
It is a phone line, answered around the clock, that connects a homeowner with a heating or cooling problem to one independent technician who covers their area and is available now. It is also an online request form for work that can wait, which ends in the same live phone connection.
It is not an HVAC company. PatchLead holds no gas or refrigeration licence, sends no vans, and does no work in your home. It does not quote prices, schedule appointments, guarantee workmanship or take payment for HVAC work. Those are all between you and the technician you are connected to.
The technicians
The technicians in the network are independent Ontario businesses. To join, they agree in writing to hold the licences, permits and insurance their work requires: a TSSA gas technician certificate for furnaces, boilers and gas lines, and federal ODS certification for handling refrigerant in air conditioners and heat pumps. They set their own prices and their own hours, and they choose which kinds of jobs and which areas they take.
We do not verify each licence ourselves, and we say so. Ask the technician for their certificate number before work begins, particularly for anything involving gas. If a technician you were connected to did not behave as a licensed professional should, tell us at support@patchlead.ca; a contractor who breaks the agreement is removed from the network.
Your information
When you call or submit a request we collect your name, phone number, postal code, and a description of the problem, and calls are recorded. That information goes to the one technician you are connected to, so they know who they are talking to and where you are. It is not sold to lead marketplaces, data brokers or lists of contractors.

Why the service exists
A furnace fails on the coldest night of the year, which is also the night every HVAC company in the city is busiest. Finding one usually means calling down a list until somebody answers, or filling in a form that sells your details to five companies who all phone back at once, hours later.
The idea behind 2hvac.ca is to do the ringing-around for you, once, live, and connect you to the one technician who picked up. The technician pays for that connection, not the homeowner, and only when the call was worth having. That keeps the incentive where it belongs: on connecting you to someone who can actually help tonight.
